Alexander Archipenko was a Ukrainian-born sculptor who worked in a variety of styles, including Cubism and Futurism. He was associated with the European avant-garde movement and was a founding member of the Cubist-influenced Section d'Or group. His sculptures often featured abstract, geometric forms.
